I just wanted to say that I have tried many breeds of dogs and have never found one that I love as much as the boston terriers. My three are the best dogs. I love them so much and they are my babies. They always brighten my day up and besides they listen better than my 13 and 8 yr old boys. Its great to see that other people think they are great too..
I have a 6 year male Boston. He is wonderful. Mack is such a wonderful addition to our family. He is so very sweet and loves to snuggle. They are truly great dogs!!
Hey Cindy- 3 Boston’s! You must be a busy woman! They’re really wonderful though!
Melissa- Mack sounds like a sweetheart! Lucy loves to snuggle as well. She especially likes to get under the covers. Glad we have something in common!
Let me know if you have any cute pictures you want me to post!
Hello Boston Terrier Lovers: I have bred my male “Mugsy” and my
female “Maggy”. Her first litter contained 4 babies 2nd litter contained 8 babies. We ended up keeping 2 of the pups a little
girl named “Maddie” and her brother “Milo”. We named all our dogs
with the letter M. They are truly the love of our lives. My husband is on perm. disability and they are the best therapy for him not only do they keep him company but, he truly believes they talk to him. From time to time we also, have “Marley” from our first litter visit us. If you want to have a true love of your life, get a Boston you will not regret it. They are always the light in our lives!!!

I have a five year old Boston Terrier. He is my second Boston. I lost my first one to cancer in 2005 at the age of 15. I’d had him since he was two months old. He was a brindle without much white; my current Boston is the “typical” black and white with some brindle patches.
I have loved this breed ever since I was six years old and met a neighbor’s dog. That Boston’s name was Tubby.
i have to bostons a red and brindel love them both. I want t breed any tips
my email is juan7276@gmail .com
Juan just curious why do you want to breed? do your dogs fit the standard of the breed? Have you had BEAR test done? CERF test done? If you are going to breed please do it responsibly! You should only breed to better the breed not just for fun or to make a buck. Do you know how many BT’s are already in rescue? Do you have homes lined up for the pups? What will you do if you cannot place all of them?
Hi, I am in my late 50′s and throughout my life have raised many different kinds of dogs. About 11 years ago, I told my husband I wanted to buy a Boston. What are they? he quiered. I said you’ll see. I bought my first Boston, and still had my dads Lhasa. I couldn’t wait, so one year later I bought my second Boston. My husband thought I was crazy having 3 dogs, but I loved the Bostons sooo much I didn’t care. Last Sept we lost Muggsy (dads Lhasa he was 15). I immediately ran out and got my first female Boston, Darla. She is the dog I always wanted. Energetic, brilliant. She is fearless. August of this year I lost my first Boston
Stymie after only 11years. So now I have 2. They are intellegent, obedient and fun dogs. I love the breed. I can go on and on but you need to have one to understand. Maybe in the future I will get a third again, but for now Darla (16 mo.) keeps me hopping.
My boston terrier is a very intellent breed, I fell in love with him from the first day i saw him. My boston terrier name is Boston because in our house he is the boss. I never had a boston terrier before, but had other dogs and they did not bring a lot of joy to me, but when i got boston he is every thing i was looking for in a dog. I will neve get any other dog for the rest of life, i have to have a boston terrier.
I just stumbled across your website while looking at Boston rescues. I have my baby now but thinking of adopting another one ! Man, is my baby something, though!!! Almost 7 this November and she has been with me since she was 4 weeks old (yeah yeah yeah… she did not come from the best of breeders).
She is amazing though.
I have to agree with Jmarie asking those questions of juan. Like I said, my Millie did not come from a reputable breeder. Due to that, she has had a lot of genetic issues. Just in June, we had one eye removed (CERF testing is a huge thing before your breed) and we will probably have to have her other eye removed within the next three years. I have come to terms with it, although a lot of tears have been shed. But dang it! She is too cute and she is my winker!
But please, do not just breed just because they are cute!!! Because they are. I have always wanted one, and I do not regret ever having got Millie because I think I am lucky and she is one lucky girl to have someone who takes care of her as I do. However, with these babies, there are a lot of genetic problems to look out for. And these problems will cause the owner of these dogs (if they are proper owners) to pay $1000s downs the road over and above average Boston vet care.
Anyway, AWESOME site, and I will be around to check it out.
Thanks!
