Hello, I have a 2 year old boston terrier named Tipsy she is the best dog I could have ever asked for, but lately we've been coming into some aggression problems. At first the only thing she would bark and get upset about is when she say a dog or animal on t.v its becoming a problem because shes developing aggression to other dogs. She unpredictable too, I'll think she's gonna be good with a dog we walk up to and then all of a sudden she snaps and trys to bite even if the dog is 5times her size. I've tried everything and everyones telling me I need to let her just get in a fight so she'll never do it again. But one I do not want to do that at all and two that seems like that would only make her more aggressive. She trained extremely well and easily but this is becoming a problem and I dont know what to do. HELP!

Hey Paula,

I found this recipe online that looks good to me. I haven't tried it yet, but hopefully this weekend I'll get around to it! Peanut Butter and Oats Glazed Cookies

I've never made my own dog food, but that might be fun to try too. Sounds like a lot of work though!

Good luck, and let me know if you decide to try the recipe.

Hello,
I was just wondering you or anyone else has any good dog treat recipes. My Boston, Pepper isn't too picky. I have looked on the web but the amount is overwhelming. Also, has anyone ever tried making their own dog food? There was a recipe that just consisted of ground beef veggies and brown rice. Would that be enough nutrients for my Boston?

Thanks,
Paula

Hi Christi,

Has your Boston terrier seen the vet? If she's seen the vet and everything checked out okay, you shouldn't be alarmed. Here are 2 articles that you might find helpful though. Good luck with the puppies and I hope everything works out fabulously. Send me an update once your Boston gives birth if you get a chance! I know you're probably going to have your hands full!

Great site but FYI...Your statement of "The AKC doesn’t recognize colored Boston Terriers − such as red/liver, chocolate, or blue" is incorrect. I have a 2 year old Boston Terrier that is AKC registered as blue & white and 2 others (sisters) that are registered as liver & white. While not acceptable in the show ring, they are absolutely recoginzed by the AKC. You may want to contact Tina in the "colors" department at AKC to clarify. My intention is not to criticize but to educate. Have a great day. ~Tamara
